ARAMAD Active Retirement Association (Meopham and District) A Group for retired and semi-retired men and women. We meet every third Tuesday at 2.00 pm at Meopham Village Hall. Our meetings feature speakers on a variety of subjects plus entertainment such as Hoy Bingo or a quiz together with social afternoons. We enjoy many outings either day trips or short holidays. We also arrange theatre trips Other activities are on offer during the month i.e. organised walks, petanque and scrabble. Or just come along for a cup of tea and a chat. New members are always welcome.
upcoming events : a holiday to Skipton, Yorkshire in May. Days out proposed to Arundel Castle to see the tulips. Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway Amongst others. Theatre trips to London and The Orchard.
we so have a scrabble club once a month and pétanque in the summer and board games in winter
